*DON'T ADVERTISE YOUR WOUND*

SCRIPTURE: And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I Pursue after this troop? Shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all - *1 Samuel 30:8*

 

*Life is full of battles, and it is Possible to be wounded.*


*Whenever you are wonded, refuse to advertise it, because your wounds might attract attacks from your Adversary.*


The Amalekites invaded Ziklag and carried away women, children, and Valuables. David and his men came back to Ziklag and saw the extent of the losses, and they wept until they had no Power to weep. 


The Bible says, David was greatly distressed, and the People taught of Stoning him.


*The People saw him wounded and taught of stoning him - An advertised wound will attract attacks.*


David overcame by encouraging himself in the Lord.


*Therefore, rather than advertising our wounds, we should encourage ourselves in the Lord because we are unaware of who is waiting to attack.*


The Bible says, your Adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour - *1 Peter 5:8*


*Obviously, a wounded Person is a Prey to the devil. But when a wounded Person encourages himself in the Lord,  he will receive Strength to move on in Life.*


*Prayer:*

Father, Please help me to encourage myself in the Lord whenever I am wounded so as not to be a Victim in the battle of Life in Jesus Christ Name.
