*JORDAN PARTED - PART 4*

SCRIPTURE: And thou shalt Command the Priests that bear the Ark of the Covenant, saying, When ye are come to the brink of the water of Jordan, ye shall Stand Still in Jordan - *Joshua 3:8 KJV*


The Parting of Jordan, just like the Parting of the Red Sea, was a Unique and Uncommon Miracle. 


There was an Instruction from the Lord to Joshua that made it Possible. 


This Instruction is important for us as we Prepare to cross over into a New Year.


In the Anchor Bible Text, God Commanded that the Priests that bare the Ark of the Covenant will pass over the Congregation into Jordan. That as soon as the soles of the feet of the Priests shall touch the waters of Jordan, then shall Jordan part.


*The Ark of the Covenant stands for the Presence of the Lord.*


*This means Jordan parts only if the Lord goes before them*


God said I will go before thee and make the crooked Places Straight. I will break in Pieces the Gates of brass and cuts in sunder the bars of iron - *Isaiah 45:2*


It is Possible to enter into a New Year, and the Year refuses to open for a Man, but when God goes before you, every Gate shall be lifted for Him to come in - *Psalm 24:7-10*


*What must we do for God to go ahead of us into the New Year?*


*(1)* Spend Quality Time Praising God. 


At a time like this, God is seeking Worshippers - *John 4:22-23*


*(2)* Gratitude to God for the Old Year.


Ingratitude is an evil that makes God turn His back to a Man - *Numbers 14:27*


*(3)* Forgiveness of the Offences of others is important for God to go before us - *Ephesians 4:32*


*When Jordan Parts for a Man, all the Blessings Previously mentioned will be his.*


*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, Please let the Coming Year open for me to Possess my Possessions in Jesus Christ Name.
