Service is key in the place of preparation, no one leads correctly without serving correctly. Jesus said anyone among you who desires to be the leader must serve.  "But Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. (Matthew 20:25 - 27NLT).


Look for opportunities to serve, get into service, ask to be allowed to serve; never dodge service, when you run away from service you miss the equipment and impartation for your preparation. 


 If you do not serve you cannot lead. The best of leaders are those who have learnt to serve. Joseph served in the house of Portipher, David served tendering his father's sheep and Jesus said  "the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many. Matt. 20:28. Jesus said anyone among you that wants to be the greatest must be the servant of all. Serve those who are above you, below and around you, service is all inclusive.


Serve your community, your neighborhood and the likes. Lazy people seek to be served while those who are hard working seek to serve others. If you are a believer, you should be serving. Your maximum gestation period after conversion is three years; if you are above three years in the Lord and you are not serving, you are a liability to divine investment. Get into service and activate the process for your preparation in divine matters.


You receive privileges, benefits at the level of who and what you serve, if you serve a king you will be called the servant of the King, when you serve God you will become a servant of God. Service is the gateway to greatness.

Prayer Point; 

Father, give me the grace to serve You and others in truth with a generous, humble and a selfless heart that shows them your love in Jesus Christ mighty.
