        *ARISE AND EAT*

SCRIPTURE: And the Angel of the LORD came again the Second Time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the Journey is too Great for thee - *1 Kings 19:7 KJV*


The Angel of the Lord came to Elijah in his discouraged moment that he should arise and eat for the Journey is too great for him.


Elijah was laying down, but the Angel asked him to stand up because a Change of Position or Posture is required for a better result in the Journey ahead.


We cannot do things the way we were doing it and expect a better result. 


The Second Charge was to eat in order to receive Strength for the Journey. 


The relevant food at such a time as this is the Word.


The Bible says Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that Proceeds out of the mouth of God - *Matthew 4:4*


The Word is the bread of Life, and he that eats of this bread shall never hunger - *John 6:35*


Bread is eaten to Strengthen a Man's Heart - *Psalm 104:15*


The Bread of Life gladdens a Man's Heart. 


Jeremiah said thy Words were found, and I did eat them, and thy Word was unto me the Joy of mine Heart - *Jeremiah 15:16*


*Therefore, the journey ahead requires the daily eating of the bread of Life for Sustenance and Inheritance* - *Acts 20:32*


*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, Please feed me daily with the Heavenly Bread in Jesus Christ Name.
