   *REPORT TO THE KING*

SCRIPTURE: Now two women who  were harlots came to the king, and stood before him -*I Kings 3:16*


*Life is full of very knotty issues beyond the wisdom of man.* 


The Bible tells us the story of two women that were harlots. 


Each of them had a child with three days difference in age. Both of them lived in the same house and slept together, one slept on her child and he died. At midnight while the other woman slept, she took her dead child and replaced him with the living child. In the morning, when the mother of the Living child was to feed her child, she discovered the child was dead and when she took another look at the child, she discovered the dead child was not hers. She also discovered the Living child with the other woman was hers. Consequently, there arose a contention for the living child. No stranger in the house with them, therefore no witnesses - *1 Kings 3:16-28*


*This issue was a knotty one for the mother of the Living child whose child had been exchanged. She had no wisdom to unravel this issue, she then decided to report to the King.*


*Whenever we are faced with issues so complicated that the wisdom of man cannot handle, we must report to the King of kings for the following reasons:*


*(1)* Light and darkness are alike unto Him - *Psalms 139:12*


*(2)* He is the Way out of every difficult situation - *John 14:6*


*(3)* Your Contender may be Mighty but, He is the Almighty - *Genesis 17:1*


*(4)* His foolishness is wiser than man's wisdom - *1 Corinthians 1:25*


*(5)* He has the Final say: He overrules all, but no one can overrule Him.


*Wisdom demands that we should not join issues with anyone concerning the difficult issues of our lives, but report them to the One who will Provide a way of escape for us* - *1 Corinthians 10:13*


*Prayer:* Father, Please kindly take over the complex   issues of my life so that I don't come to shame and  reproach in Jesus Christ mighty name.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father. Jacob also Struggled with Laban, his Uncle.
