*A NEW GARMENT -  Part 1*

SCRIPTURE: And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck - *Genesis 41:42 KJV*


*When Heaven visits the Earth, one of the Blessings is a New Garment.*


*A Garment is a Piece of Clothing whose Primary Purpose is to cover one's Nakedness* - *Genesis 9:20-23*


This Primary Purpose can be changed depending on who is Providing the Garment. 


*Let us take a look at the Life of Joseph to explain what we are talking about.*


The enemy lied against Joseph and put him in Prison. 


In Prison, he was given a Garment of shame, pain, slavery, and limitation, and he was working for someone else to eat. 


The Enemy's Garment put the Destiny of Joseph on hold.


The enemy can also give a Garment of Mourning - *Genesis 37:34*


But, while Joseph was in Prison, Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, sent for him. When the call came, he was hastily brought out of Prison - *Genesis 41:14*


*There are two Major things he did when he came out of Prison:*


*(1)* He shaved himself to look Good.


*(2)* He Changed his Garment, and he returned the Prison Garment to put on his own Garment.


When he got to the Palace of the king, the king did not remove the Garment but gave gave him a New Garment - *Genesis 41:41-42*


The King gave him a New Garment of Glory - *Genesis 45:13*


He got a New Garment of Honour.

He got a New Garment of Dominion and Rulership - *Genesis 41:43*


He got a New Garment of Marriage - *Genesis 41:45*


He got a New Garment of Fruitfulness - *Genesis 41:50*


He got the New Garment of Abundance - *Genesis 41:47*


He got a New Garment of Healing - *Genesis 41:51*


He got a New Garment of Exemption from Troubles - *Genesis 41:52;  Job 22:29*


*Prayer:*

Father, in the Name of Jesus, Please give me a New Garment of Glory and Honour in Jesus Christ Name.

Jacob was enlarged, and the Bible says, the man (Jacob) increased Exceedingly - *Genesis 30:43* The Enlargement of Jacob was with a lot of Struggles.  He Struggled with Esau, his brother, in the womb - *Genesis 25:22* Even when he was born, he continued to Struggle with Esau, for his Birthright.  Jacob, in his quest for Enlargement, deceived his father. Jacob also Struggled with Laban, his Uncle.
