The Lord intervened and the Prison doors opened. Their Midnight ended, but the Jailer's Midnight began.  The escape of Prisoners from the Prison meant a death Sentence for the Jailer.  Therefore, when the Jailer awoke out of sleep and saw the Prison doors opened, his own Midnight came. This was unfair and highly humiliating.  But, rather than Nursing their Pains and wounds, the Bible says at Midnight, Paul and Silas Prayed and sang Praises unto God.
