But it was never recorded for us that the Lord was with him until he came to the house of Pontiphar.  *This tells us that the Challenges he faced in Life which included threats to his Life, removal of his coat of many colours, being cast into a pit and being sold to Ishmealites brought him closer to God.*  The Bible says, our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of Glory - *2 Corinthians 4:17* *The Challenges were allowed by God to remove the inadequacies and the shortcomings in the Life of Joseph.*

Therefore, for the fear of being killed, he introduced Sarah his wife, as his sister. In recent times, the case of young people committing suicide has become more common.   A lot of the time, it's because they do not know how to deal with the challenges life throws at them.    Life is full of ups and downs. No matter how we try to protect and help our young people, it's impossible to shield them from all that life will throw at them.
